"Vacancy" Review

Excerpts from my "Vacancy" Review

-While it doesnt persist entirely through the movie, this has got to be the least likable character I’ve ever seen Kate Beckinsale play. For the first half she plays quite a bitch (although you find out her attitude is understandable)

-Her acting is very good in this movie and while I found myself disappointed not hearing Kate’s beautiful accent, she played her American role very well. Her American accent was perfect (as in "Click")

-Dare I say it’s one of her better acting roles? I think I would. As far as I care, the “Underworld” films didn't really display her true acting skills, nor did “Click” (although she was great in both). The character of Amy Fox is far less likable and because of that I believe it’s a better display of her acting talent.

Outrage About Anorexia Comments

Kate's comments about Anorexia didn't go over that well

"Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale has been branded "irresponsible" by parents of anorexic sufferers, after she claimed the eating disorder was the result of an unhealthy home life.

The Underworld star - a former anorexic herself - sparked controversy on the 24th when she likened sufferers of "anorexia, alcoholism and drug abuse in teens" to "crack whores". And while Beckinsale, who was brought up by her mother following the death of her father when she was five, was partly referring to her own childhood experiences, the 33-year-old's comments have enraged relatives of anorexia sufferers. Ros Ponomarenko-Jones, whose 19-year-old daughter Sophie died last year (06) from the condition, says, "(Beckinsale) has been totally flippant and does not really know what she is talking about. She is not giving anorexia the status it deserves as a mental illness.

"I think she needs to go to an eating disorder unit and speak to some of the girls there, where she would find out it is not always about what is happening in the home. "They look up to celebrities and if they are thin, the girls take that on board and think if they look skinnier, they will have friends and live better lives. She has been completely irresponsible."

-Contact Music

I don't want to even touch on the subject, because I definitely do not have personal experience with any of this, so it might be trite to comment on it.

Err..ok. I don't see anything wrong with what Kate has said. After all, I think she's right regarding an "unhealthy home life". There's more than one way to look at it, but I believe that it's parents' job to make sure things like this don't happen (anorexia)

I realize that's open to debate, but my father (who raised me by himself, for most part anyways) always sheltered me away from things like that. Not anorexia of course, but things such as disruptive behaviour, smoking or general drug use. But most importantly, he wasn't over-protecting when he did so. He let me figure things out along the way and I believe that I'm a better person because of it. Now I'm not saying anorexia and a like are always the direct result of bad parenting, but I do think it can have a huge influence.

Now of course, that could imply Kate's mother was a bad parent. Is that true? There's obviously no way I can answer that. The only thing I can say is we know Kate lost her father when she was very young and I believe that probably attributed to her anorexia. So then, while I do agree with a good deal of what she has said, perhaps she shouldn't have spoken so soon (too many circumstances)

No pun intended towards the parents the article mentions, or any parents with a similar story.

Beckinsale Denies Barbarella Talk

"Never heard anything about it" by Scott Collura April 26, 2007

Last week, the rumor mill was buzzing with talk that Underworld star Kate Beckinsale would be taking on the title role in producer Dino De Laurentiis's remake of his classic sexy sci-fi tale Barbarella.

Of course, the fact that the info was coming from the British tabloid Daily Express didn't help to allay the doubts of those who have been burned by U.K. tabloids in the past. Now, Beckinsale herself has confirmed to IGN that no one has even approached her about the film. "I just found out myself today," the actress said last week from the set of the currently shooting Whiteout. "It's thrilling! I've never heard anything about it before today.

One of the [Whiteout] crewmembers told me." The planned remake of the 1968 Jane Fonda starrer is being scripted by Casino Royale screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. In years past, Lindsay Lohan and Drew Barrymore have both been mentioned as being up for the role, but an "unnamed insider" told the Express last week that "the feeling is that Kate has just the right combination of beauty, humor, and acting talent for the part."

Too bad nobody told Kate that. Still, the actress joked with IGN that if she did take the role, it would require a name change. "Beckinsale-arella!" she laughed.

"It's gotta happen!"

Kate's Style - 2006 Events In-Depth

I hoped you've all enjoyed my previous post, and here as promised, is an in-depth look at Kate's styles in 2006. Again, this is all my opinion - so I'm not stating it as fact
;-)

Having looked over the year, I think Kate's fashion has much evolved. Perhaps with more maturity and at nearly every event, Kate went with tied back hair. I suspect that has something to do with that "bald patch", but I can't say for sure. Either way, It looks damn good!

January 16th - Golden Globe Awards

Now here you can see Kate stuck with a more traditional, yet classy dress. I think she looks fabulous in every aspect, but I'm missing that streaked hair!

June 16th - MTV Movie Awards

Striking, although not my taste when it comes to outfits. Prefer a body forming dress or something like she wore at the 2004 MTV Movie awards. Still, I cannot deny she looks oh so sweet.

October 16th - Spike TV Movie Awards

This particular outfit happens to be one of my least favourite - not because she looks ugly, but because I see it as too flashy. Pardon me, but it appears a little slutty for Kate. Speaking of which, too much eye shadow. Her hair on the otherhand, looks fantastic. It drives me crazy when she ties it back.

Januarary 11 - Underworld Evolution Premiere

Even if the dress is a little vampire-ish (ha..Underworld, get it?..) I think it looks quite classy on her. Yet again, loving the tie back hair style.

Beautiful. I love everything about this outfit.

This is by far the worst look/outfit I've ever seen her show up in. I'm not alone either, most other Kate fanatics agree. It's unsexy, unclassy ..

As I said in my "2004 event In-Depth" post, I thought red suited Kate very well, in fact I even brought up this dress in that particular post. Aside from the fact that I feel the dress is somewhat extravagant:

That particular episode of Jay Leno's Tonight Show remains my favourite not only because it was a hiliarious interview, but because Kate looked so amazing. Amazingly simple, yet gorgeous in all aspects!

January 18th - TRL, Underworld Evolution Promotion

I love this outfit! I realize that it may appear as a contridaction to like this outfit when I disliked the "Spike TV Movie Awards" one, but I don't care :P. Yes, this outfit is quite seductive and sexy, but I find it much more tasteful than that other outfit. I even see she added some fantastic coloured streaks in her hair. Beautiful, yet sexy combo.

April 26th - Nina Ricci Fashion Show

I know more than a few Kate fans which weren't particulary impressed with this outfit/style. I think it suits her perfectly. Her jewerly is rather interesting too.

Anyways, I did miss out on a few events, but I think I've covered the most important ones.

Feel free to leave me a comment regarding you're personal favourite, or least favourite. I'd be interested!

Cheers!

IGN "Vacancy" Interview

Thanks to Dan Murray (one of my readers) for the heads up.

Yet Another Kate Interview

Kate on the set of Vacancy with director Nimród Antal

"I was the least athletic person I've ever met and I'm a girly-girl," she says. "I like kittens and puppies. None of this was planned. `Underworld' was an exercise to see if I could do it. And it seems to have run away from me a bit." The modestly priced "Underworld" films feature Beckinsale as a Lycra-sheathed vampire who battles werewolves.

The original cleared more $51.9 million at the box office and the sequel $62.3 million. Both have enjoyed a healthy afterlife on DVD, another reason for her ascent to genre royalty. It might also explain why she was chosen to replace "Sex and the City's" Sarah Jessica Parker in "Vacancy," playing the fairer half of an embittered couple whose therapy turns out to be a brush with death. (In an unwitting attempt at method acting, the two reportedly bickered on the set.)

FYI - Kate has dismissed that last sentence ;-)

Beckinsale's Amy and Luke Wilson's David check into a motel, but they aren't supposed to check out. They become aware that they have been cast in a snuff movie. The fear factor for Beckinsale included rats and a tunnel, just perfect for her real-life claustrophobia. "I have two small fears: being in small spaces and somebody vomiting on me," she says.

While she may be the reigning monarch of films you might see at a drive-in, she has had a varied career. She played a Lady covered by pig muck in "Cold Comfort Farm" (1995), a fate-tangled lover in the romantic comedy "Serendipity" (2001) and Ava Gardner in Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator" (2004). Her thespian chops have been celebrated (by the London Critics Circle for 1998's "The Last Days of Disco" (1998) and reviled (a shared Razzie, the anti-Oscar, for 2001's "Pearl Harbor"). But in terms of capturing an audience on her own, nothing has clicked like "Underworld."

"I think it's a strange fan base in terms of my whole body of work," says Beckinsale, who also played a vampire slayer in "Van Helsing." "I've got some great literary old farts in there like me, and teenage boys in there." And probably the teenage boys' dads, too.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The 33-year-old London native is a regular presence in the "who's sexiest?" ratings of lad magazines. She got her thoroughbred looks from her actor-parents, Judy Loe and Richard Beckinsale, who died when his daughter was almost 6. She also inherited their urge to perform. After an adolescent struggle with anorexia, she tried literature at Oxford and life in Paris but found a home in show business when Kenneth Branagh cast her as Hero in his film version of "Much Ado About Nothing" (1993).

Beckinsale is awaiting distribution of "Snow Angels," a Sundance heavy focusing on her character's frazzled marriage. The film was adapted from a book by Avon's Stewart O'Nan. "It's a very emotionally wrenching movie," she says. "That was one of the reasons it was such a fantastic acting job. I thought the book was a beautiful."

I very much look forward to seeing "Snow Angels". Should be a new turn in her career.

There have been conversations about a third "Underworld," which could reunite her onscreen with her husband, director Len Wiseman. (The two fell in love while shooting the first "Underworld"; Beckinsale left her boyfriend and "Underworld" co-star Michael Sheen, the father of her 8-year-old daughter.) "I'd love to do another project with my husband," she says. "I'd love to get my husband in the same country as me."

One production not in the works is adding to her family. "I think I'm pretty happy with what I've got going on," she says. While "Vacancy" is no manual to restoring marital bliss, Beckinsale says we should recognize the humanity in the story, how an extreme situation can "make you realize how much you do love someone or love them at all."

I Was Expecting..

Some premiere photos from the release of Vacancy last night. Am I wrong, or does the premiere not happen on opening day?

But I do get the impression from my last post that Kate is still in Montreal finishing filming for Whiteout. So that explains why there are no premiere photos - she wasn't there.

Bummer.

Kate Busy!

No surprise here. Kate has been working like a dog lately. I honestly hope she stops to take a break soon. Don't want her to wear herself out!

By RACHEL LEIBROCK

Kate Beckinsale has exactly 12 minutes

Calling from a Montreal movie set, Beckinsale's just finished shooting a scene for her next film, Whiteout, and barely has time to catch a breath.

The 33-year-old actress hasn't even had time to see the finished version of Vacancy, the film for which she's taking a break to chat up. "I'll probably just have to go watch it in the movie theater when I'm done here," she says, words tumbling out in rapid-fire and with a perfectly clipped British accent. Vacancy, which opened Friday, is the story of an estranged couple who, mourning the death of their son, stops at a rundown motel after their car breaks down. What starts out as a night of awkward silences and an uncomfortable bed turns deadly when David (Luke Wilson) and Amy Fox (Beckinsale) discover a stash of videos in their room. They soon realise that the tapes, which show graphic, slasher-type scenes, are actually "snuff films" that depict real murders - and that they may be the next potential victims. What drew Beckinsale to the story, though, was the couple's relationship. "I thought it was really interesting to start a film at the end of a relationship and explore what happens," says the London native who is perhaps best known to many for her role in Pearl Harbor. "It just felt like there was an awful lot of room for actual acting." And, while the motel set sometimes felt a bit claustrophobic ("After hours in that room, we were always happy to get to be chased around the parking lot"), Beckinsale dismisses tabloid reports of any on-set friction with Wilson.

"Luke Wilson's very nice - great sense of humour," she says. "If you're going to be trapped in a motel room with someone on end, it helps if you have someone you like." She is, of course, used to gossipy attention, having endured speculation on everything from her appearance to her relationship with her husband, director Len Wiseman, whom she met on the set of 2003's Underworld. Beckinsale just shrugs most of it off. After all, she says, if you believe everything you read, then "there's this monstrous person who does crazy things and is constantly on the edge of divorce." "It's like, `I don't know who she is, but I'm not dying to hang out with her.'" If anything, Beckinsale's gotten quite adept at staying cool beneath the sweat-inducing spotlight. "It goes with the territory and there's a limit to how much you can complain about it," she says. "This is just the nature of being in the public life."

That said, Beckinsale would like to, thank you very much, focus on her work. Which, by the way, she claims is getting somewhat harder to come by. "It's a well-worn cliche that material for (older women) isn't as exciting as it is for the guys," she says. "And I do feel that there's less available and most movies aren't very good." Her own films notwithstanding, of course. "Oh no! A good deal of mine aren't very good," she disclaims, laughing. "But there were many lovely people involved, so I would never name them." OK, moving on. Despite the dearth of roles, Beckinsale says she's been able to strike a balance. For every stiff-upper-lip part in such films as 1995's Cold Comfort Farm, there's a kick-butt action flick like Van Helsing. For every serious drama (the upcoming Winged Creatures, with Forest Whitaker and Dakota Fanning), there's a vampire tale (Underworld). "It's funny, but working in action films came to me by accident," Beckinsale says. "Before Underworld, I was having trouble getting work that wasn't Oscar Wilde or very starched," she says. "So I thought, I just want to see if I can do (an action film)."

Lol at what I have bolded. That's classic Beckinsale humour and yet another reason why I think she's so great. She's got devilish charms, probably a result of being a Brit ;-)

As such, Underworld became an exercise in skill - both physical and mental. "It's not what comes easy to me - I'm not a tough girl, I'm not terribly athletic," she says. "But it is sort of an acting stretch and I'm still amazed that I can get away with it." Besides, action, drama, whatever - it's good work if you can get it. "I like entertainment just as much as anyone and it's all relevant in terms of a body of work and experience," says Beckinsale, who portrays a U.S. marshal in Whiteout. "It's all part of the learning curve." Before you know it, Beckinsale's 12 minutes are up - on the dot. It's time to return to the set and, then finally, to the trailer that she shares with daughter Lily, 8, while husband Wiseman's off shooting the next Die Hard film. And that's great, she says, because, at the end of a busy day, she's happy with the simple act of being Kate Beckinsale. "I make dinner in the trailer, we have the cats here - it's extremely domestic." And it's a good life, she says. "I try not to complain too much about anything because, honestly, I feel very lucky."

Kate's Style - 2004 Events In-Depth

It's not often that I'm talking about fashion, in fact I think this may be a first. I'm not a "fashion buff" myself - in fact I'm quite the opposite. However, as Kate is a subject which is close to my heart I thought it'd be interesting to examine her 2004 styles.

Bar none, Kate's best years (in terms of looks) was 2004. My oh my, she looked amazing. Of course even in 2005 and 2006 Kate looked fantastic, but 2004 was the "year of looks". Mainly because Kate was using many extensions through out her hair styles (which could be an explanation for that bald patch which the paparazzi had picked up on in later years)

Nearly every outfit she showed up in was a stunner.

June 5th -MTV Movie Awards

I've got to say her apparel on this particular day stands as one of the most beautiful styles she's ever gone with. Sure, it wasn't a sparkling dress or skirt - but it's just plain sexy. Her hair on that particular day was heavenly, and it looks like she may have been using a bit of red colouring. In fact, many of her best photo shoots shot in 2004 followed this style of hair (both for Van Helsing and The Aviator)

Loved nearly everything about the above outfit, but wasn't too fond on the boots (even if they matched the colour scheme) Hair style looking great!

Beautiful dress, and so perfect for a women of taste like Kate.

December 14th- The New York Aviator Premiere

The dress is nice, but I find the colour resulting in a lack of appeal and excitement. Especially when compared to some of her other outfits. Also worth mentioning is that Kate is someone who was born with pale skin and on this particular day, it's quite noticeable.

Aside from that it's obvious Kate went with a different hair style and to say the least, I loved it.

Bruce's rating: B- (even with the beautiful hair!)

Oh and on a side note, Kate appeared on The View with this hair style and it is surely one of her best looks. Wow, just wow!

December Aviator premiere style - 1st and 19th

To save a little space I'm going to sum these two up in the same paragraph, because after all Kate looked near indentical at both the Los Angeles and London Premiere. Always found this look to be a little unexciting. Dare I say, even a little "un-Kate". There's even something different about her face here and I suspect it might be the overuse of makeup.

Bruce's rating: C+

May 3rd - Van Helsing Premiere

Hair is looking perfect here. Dress colour is nice, but I'm not fond of the alternating and crossing front.

Bruce's Overall Favourites:

June 10th - AFI Lifetime Achievement Award - A Tribute to Meryl Streep

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Of all of Kate's amazing styles in 2004, June 10th remains one of my favourites. (if not my all time favourite)

Now this is what I think about when the words "Classy" and "Kate" come together. This is my humble opinion is her best outfit of the year, not to mention hair style. That dress is pure class and downright gorgeous. Even as a male, I can appreciate how fabulous this outfit looks.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Even the down to the last detail of her shoes show taste and here again, I bring up the "hair". I love all of her other hair styles in 2004, but when it comes to a style made to make an impression, this is the king (or queen in this case..)

Bruce's rating: A+ (and ++++++)

May 5th - The Today Show

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Yet another beautiful style from Kate. I view this outfit (and look) as stylish, sexy and modern. Despite what I'd usually view as a color diaster, I think these three colours work very well together. Especially the red! (which has always looked smoking on Kate, evident by some candids with red spandex and her dress at the 2006 London Premiere of Click). The sunglasses she's sporting in the above photo happens to be my favourite pair she owns (or least that I've seen, because she's got a huge collection - FYI, she wore those shades on June 5th too)

Bruce's rating: A+ (and ++++++)

Meanwhile Vacancy is to be released tomorrow, so you can expect a new set of premiere photos (which I will have for you Kate fans ;) ) I assume she'll come as a blond and it'll be interesting to see what she looks like.

Further to that, I'd like to create an in-Depth look at Kate's 2006 styles (probably on the upcoming Monday)

Barbarella and Vacancy

"Kate Beckinsale is set to star in a remake of 'Barbarella'.Movie bosses think the British actress is a perfect choice to play the cult 60s heroine - a role made famous by Jane Fonda in the original 1968 erotic space adventure.

A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Jane Fonda made the 'Barbarella' role very much her own all those years ago and she is bound to be a tough act to follow." But the feeling is that Kate has just the right combination of beauty, humour and acting talent for the part.

"Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry have also been linked to the role. The script for the £55 million project will be written by Robert Wade and Neal Purvis, who penned 'Casino Royale'. Peter Webber, whose credits include 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' and 'Hannibal Rising', is set to direct.

Producer Dino De Laurentiis said: "The reinvented heroine will be akin to a female James Bond - in outer space."In the original film, Barbarella stripped naked before being taken to a mysterious planet where she battled her enemies and had several sexual experiences.

Lack of Attendance At Events?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

"British movie star Kate Beckinsale refuses to buy into Hollywood's glamour scene because she'd prefer to be at home bathing her daughter than attending a glitzy party. Motherhood will always come first for the Underworld star and she admits she has often turned down party invites and snubbed premieres because they interfere with bathtime at home. She says, "If going to a premiere means missing (daughter) Lily's bathtime, I won't miss bathtime. "I can't tell you how many times I've gone to present at the Golden Globes, come home, whipped the dress off and read to my daughter wearing gazillion-dollar earrings. "That's how it goes in my house, and I wouldn't have it any other way."

The expected response to the above is "does Kate not care about publicity?" The truth would be, no. Of course, her career somewhat depends on it, but as long as Kate is Kate - she'll continue to do things her own way. Because of that alone, I admire her very much.

Kate Disatisfied With Her Breasts

In a excerpt from the upcoming GLAMOUR magazine interview, the 33 year old British actress displayed her dissatisfaction about her breasts. Mind you, this is by far the first time we've heard Kate displaying her dissatisfaction with her own body.

In 2006, Kate said she was rather unhappy with her arse. She revealed that when she doesn't fit into a pair of jeans, it makes her go crazy. In fact it gets so bad she says she won't even go out of her house at the risk of being embarrassed.

And yet again, in a 2006 interview with Conan 'O Brien, Kate said she had a gigantic head and sizeable teeth..

To be honest, writing this blog post makes me somewhat depressed. Of course, her above feelings could most certainly be driven by her teenage years where she unfortunately suffered from anorexia.

I just wish Kate knew how beautiful she was. If I must be honest, one thing that always confused me about Kate is that she occasionally wears body forming and revealing outfits (in the public) which would indicate she's perfectly happy with her body (see below)

Perhaps it's more of a day to day thing (some days she feels inadequate, while other days she feels confident about her body). I would imagine many can relate to that, myself included.

I highly doubt she'll ever read this - but just in case she ever did: Kate you're perfect as you are. Take it from you're fans, we all love you because of who you are.

I'm more than 100% sure Kate's husband, Len Wiseman, thinks the same =)

Here's the excerpt:

Celebs are far from perfect, and believe it or not, even some of the hottest stars have insecurities about their bods. British hottie Kate Beckinsale would actually prefer to have someone else's body, any takers on hers?

Kate recently told Glamour magazine that if she could switch bodies with someone for a day, it would be "Someone with gigantic real breasts, like Queen Latifah."

Beckinsale goes on to reveal, "I am so fascinated by breasts because my mother didn't have them either. If I had them, I'd run up and down a flight of stairs!"

When asked what her favorite body part was Kate revealed, "I remember being 13 and sobbing in a shoe store because I had these freakishly long feet. Now my husband thinks I've got the most attractive feet ever! They just arrived too soon."

At least she's happy with those feet!

Kate Covergirl on GLAMOUR Magazine (May 07)

Kate Beckinsale, 33, has a past that’s gossip-column gold. In 2003 the actress left actor Michael Sheen (father of her then four-year-old daughter, Lily) and started dating Len Wiseman, director of Underworld—the film in which both she and Sheen were starring. Juicy stuff for the tabloids…and yet somehow Beckinsale managed to escape unscathed: She remained friends with her ex, avoided media scrutiny and held on to her wholesome image. How did she succeed where other high-profile heartbreakers have failed? “From the beginning, all three of us put Lily first, and then it was kind of easy,” Beckinsale explains. Today, she is so close with her ex that sometimes they, along with their partners, all put Lily to bed together.

Early on, Beckinsale was forced to adapt to life’s toughest situations: When she was five, her much-beloved father, Richard Beckinsale—one of Britain’s most famous television actors—died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 31. She and her mother moved to London, and Beckinsale kept her father’s legacy alive by becoming an actress. Her big break came when she was cast as the lead in the 2001 blockbuster Pearl Harbor, followed by 2004’s Van Helsing and The Aviator, and 2006’s Click. Today, Beckinsale finds herself in the position every actress dreams about: She lands starring roles but still manages to travel below the radar. During her Glamour interview at Shutters Hotel on the Beach in Santa Monica, California, no one blinks an eye at her, despite the fact that she looks every inch the A-list star. Too bad for all of them—if they’d just listened in a bit, they’d have discovered just how clever, charming and flat-out cool Beckinsale is. Read on to see for yourself.

GLAMOUR: So you’re starring in Vacancy, a horror movie in which you and Luke Wilson play a couple who realize they’re about to become the victims of a snuff film. You also met your husband on the set of a vampire movie. What’s the deal—do you have a thing for getting chopped up on screen?

KATE BECKINSALE: [Laughs.] Yes, it is one of those horror movies that has lots of blood, guts and gore, but it’s also about a relationship that’s falling apart. That’s what attracted me to the material. I hear it’s very good, but I haven’t seen it!

GLAMOUR: Would you promote a film you hated?

KATE BECKINSALE: It happens. But what’s really lovely is when you’re proud of a movie you’ve done and look forward to doing the press. Obviously I’ve had great experiences with people I’ve worked with on films—I’ve married half of them! I should come with a warning sign that says, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to try to marry you. I’m done.” [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: You and your ex are still close. How did you pull that off?

KB: It took three people who were willing to be incredibly generous, grown-up and mature. I give enormous credit to Michael and Len for the way they’ve handled things. As a result, I have an amazing child with three great parents. I feel slightly sorry for kids who’ve got only two!

GLAMOUR: Has anything surprised you about being married to an American?

KB: I do find it extraordinary that men are so prepared to pay for your dinner here. That simply never happens in England. When I first got together with Len, I couldn’t understand why it seemed like he was always trying to get into my side of the car. He was holding the door open for me! I don’t know what you teach American men in school here, but you have to keep it up, because it’s extremely charming.

Kate Has Lots of Sex!

Actress Kate Beckinsale knows how to keep her filmmaker husband Len Wiseman happy - by having lots of sex with him. Beckinsale claims the couple, who met on the set of Underworld in 2003, maintain their relationship through mutual compromise.

She says, "Women feel sexy from feeling attractive and desired. Men feel sexy from having lots of sex."

Kate Gone Blond?

That's right, you're reading right. Kate has dyed her hair blond, but only for her role in Winged Creatures

Here are two shots for you to peak at. The first was shot on the set of Winged Creatures, while the second was shot on March 26th on a Manhattan Beach.

So Why Kate?

It’s no secret to the users of GermanCarZone that I have an obsession with a certain individual.

www.germancarzone.com - My user ID: 7.3 AMG

All of this is evident by my rather large picture & video collection of her, let alone the fact that multiple pictures of her were featured in my avatar.

Before we actually get to the actual individual, I must ask, haven’t items which are not available to you (for whatever reason), always more desirable? I’d say they are, because people fantasize about vehicles, homes and even clothing.

The individual in my case would be British actress Kate Beckinsale. Honestly, I am in love with somebody I’ve never met, but I shall try & explain why. What started my attraction for the lovely Kate Beckinsale was her looks. Actually the question should be, how could it not?

I think Ms. Beckinsale is one of the most gorgeous women on the planet and then some. Every little aspect of her. Her gorgeous eyes, her amazing lips and oh bloody hell, that amazing hair and I mean amazing hair. In fact I think her hair is one of the most attractive things on her. Whatever style – short, long – simple brown or blond streaked. I’m getting butterflies thinking about it right now.

Then there is her body, which to say the least is also fantastic. Her breasts are not overpowering (can breasts be “overpowering” – in my case, yes) Her arse is more than fine and then there is her side profile – I’m not sure what it is, but she has the most beautiful side profile I’ve ever seen. In fact, Kate as a package is every bit a piece of artwork as a classic Da Vinci Painting (sorry for being dramatic..)

Of course, regardless of how beautiful Kate is, if she acted like a ditz then I would blacklist her from my “dream girl” list. Thankfully, Kate doesnt portray herself in the public (interviews and what not) as a complete idiot.

Having viewed various interview clips I honestly believe she is a very intelligent woman, and to back that claim up, she went to New Oxford College where among other things she studied French and Russian literature. When she was in her early teens she won the British bookseller W.H. Smith Young Writers' competition. Intelligence and beauty, what else could you ask for?

How about a sexy accent? Actually, she’s got that covered too. Oh how sweet her English accent is. Like music you never get tired, perhaps something smooth and soothing from Simon & Garfunkel.

Overall, Kate Beckinsale is one of those rare individuals which makes me smile, at anytime. Whether I’m sad, or happy – she never fails to bring a smile to my face. Perhaps it’s her magnetic personality combined with those killer looks?

I’ll try to end this endless appreciation like this: sex is the last thing on my mind when I think of Kate.

Hello and Welcome!

If you've followed my personal blog over the last couple of weeks you'll notice I try my best to keep it fresh. However having said I'm having troubles, you see time isn't my issue, finding subject matter is. While I will update my other blog regularly I wanted to create another blog with one specific subject matter. Vehicles could have been a subject I chose and Rush, that could have been one too. Having said that, I've decided my new blog will be dedicated to an individual which I admire. If you've read my other blog you'll already know who I'm talking about, it is no one other than the fabulous Kate Beckinsale.

In my blog I will aim to keep up-to-date information on Kate Beckinsale. That includes upcoming movies she'll star in, articles, opinions, etc.

If you have not followed my other blog: My name is Bruce and I am twenty years old, I currently live in Vancouver British Columbia

Hope you enjoy!
