Spotted @ STK Restaurant (3/9/08)

"This weekend Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale were spotted leaving STK restaurant in LA. None of their hot husbands were in sight and while we knew Eva and Posh have been friends for a while now — Eva bonded with Victoria during her Spice Girls tour and she was even there to cheer on David at his first game with the LA Galaxy last July, but we didn't know Kate B was part of the clique. The three ladies ate and then headed to the lounge for after dinner drinks with the protection of their bodyguards. Posh even surprised quite a few women when she waited in line to use the "regular" restroom. Could you even imagine opening the door only to see Posh waiting on the other side? Now that would totally be major!

Kate Does Allure!

Spring is a comin'! More stuff!

Kate Beckinsale showed off some smoky eyes and sexy wind-blown hair for the March issue of Allure. She's got a new movie called Snow Angels coming out next month, but quirky Kate was more interested in talking about her early struggles in the industry and how she's risen to her current level of success. Here are highlights:

On her job: "Acting requires so much delving into yourself and exposing yourself, so it's sensible to be wondering, Do I still want to be doing this? But I enjoy the work, and everything is so solid at home. I don't care if they say I've had buttock implants. Or not. I don't care. Go ahead! That's the nice thing about getting to the age I am. I could have said I didn't care before—but secretly I did. And now I really don't."

On considering quitting acting to become a doctor: "I was at the point where I was wondering whether the work I was doing was sustaining me intellectually. I'd had enough of the ludicrous questions. Like, 'Have you had your boobs done?' or 'Have you slept with Colin Farrell?'"

On struggling with her career: "I sort of ended up in Los Angeles by accident. And it was sort of terrible to be jostled into this position of a fame-hungry starlet. Which is so honestly not me! In fact, I could use a bit more of that because I am such a hermit! So I allowed myself to get really bothered."

On her husband, Len Wiseman: "I have a husband who lit-erally worships me. And cleans the house. And blow-dries my daughter's hair."

Sounds like Kate made the right decision when she decided to stick with acting instead of switching over to the medical field, an idea that she had toyed with. Being a movie star with a hot husband who is also into hairstyling sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us.

Fred Segal Candids (2/17/08)

Kate Beckinsale likes to keep things casual when she's not lighting up the red carpet, but yesterday she and a pal hit up Fred Segal in LA to shop for some designer clothes. A late birthday present for her daughter Lily, perhaps? Or... maybe Kate believes that the best Valentine's Day gifts are ones you pick out yourself. Either way, hopefully she picked up a couple of cute things to go with her Zahara Jolie-Pitt inspired bag.

Weekend Candids

Looks as if the trio is still finishing off their Christmas shopping. Kate's looking fantastic, and I must say that I greatly admire her outfit.

By the way, I had just noticed that we haven't seen any recent candids of Kate with a cigarette of any kind. Did she quit, or is this just a coincidence? I'd love for her to quit, but I'm guessing it's the latter.

Kate Beckinsale spent her weekend whittling away at the old holiday shopping list in LA with Len and Lily by her side. Of course, Kate looked fabulous in her cozy winter white. At one point, Kate ducked away from the rest of her family and into a toy store to big up a few bags of goodies. Hopefully she's got a good hiding spot in her home, because we all know how wily kids (and, let's face it, adults) can be about trying to ruin the surprise of their presents before the big morning.

Additionally (and before I forget), I wish a happy Christmas to all of my readers!
