Happy Birthday Kate!

Today is a special day folks...today is Kate's 34th Birthday!

While others, (maybe even Kate herself) might deem turning 34 years of age as a negative; I can only see it as a positive. As I've stated in the past, I feel that Katie is aging like fine wine and as a result, is getting considerably sweeter with age.

Furthermore I'd like to send out my congratulations on this special day to Kate's successful film career. Sure, she's doesn't have a net worth equal to Jessica Alba, nor have some of her recent films been that great; nevertheless there's no doubt that she's well paid and is currently on the rise. Not to mention, while still relatively unknown in the mainstream of Hollywood (I really do think so), Kate has gone from a side casted, low payed actress to an ass kicking, film leading, box office churning babe. I hope the following years are even prosperous for her.

I truthfully wish that she has the absolute best Birthday a person could have!(husband Len Wiseman better make sure of that ;-) )

This time she is facing off against Karolina Kurova and I am proud to say that she is clearly the preferred babe - leading Karolina by 34 votes!

Kate's New Movie?

Just received notification (thanks to my reader Dan Murray!) of a new movie which Kate will apparently being staring in!

According to a swack of websites, Kate's upcoming film - titled 'Nothing but the Truth' - is a crime drama about a Washington D.C. reporter who reveals the identity of a CIA agent and is later jailed for refusing to name her source.

Take note though - one of articles says "in talks", so it might not be 100% definitive. Either way, what do you think about the role? Good for her career? Bad for her career?

I think it's a terrific role as it will place Kate into a situation where she's clearly never ventured. Not to mention, it most definitely sounds like a more serious role than her recent works!

I'm glad to see Kate's new direction in film roles. Now, let's hope the film is actually good..

Beckinsale: 'I Love Flashing'.... Kate Beckinsale loves being an exhibitionist - and once let her breasts distract an unsuspecting journalist during an interview.

The 33-year-old Pearl Harbor star admits to flashing parts of her anatomy at inappropriate times, and isn't fazed by impromptu nudity.

She says, "A friend made me wear this top for an interview. I had one t*t entirely hanging out in front of this Japanese man.

"I think I really scared him. He was fumbling around and couldn't get his tape recorder to work."

Beckinsale also confesses to exposing herself again when a pair of trousers she was wearing shockingly split.

She adds, "My trousers had worn through so much you could see my bottom."

Unbreakable Habits?

Are there any downsides to Kate?

With my constant praise and worshiping, you might gather the impression that I feel she is just perfect. After all, what most view as her downsides (teeth, small breast size, etc) are not issues to myself. However, truth be told, there is one particular thing that bothers me very much about Kate. That 'thing', is her habit of smoking cigarettes.

Kate does smoke them cigarettes and judging from candid photos, she smokes them like there's no tomorrow.

Honestly, just about every set of candid photos you'll find, she's got a nasty cancer stick in her hand and I hate it. I can't tell you how many great candids have been ruined because of these bloody things!

Now, I'm not sure how long Kate has been smoker, but I know that she stopped once she became pregnant with Lily (her daughter). Although, she decided to take the habit up once again once Lily was born. Having said that, I think it's clear that she most certainly could stop stop smoking if she put her mind to it.

Unfortunately - I don't think she's aiming to stop anytime soon:

"I gave up while I was pregnant. I know it's pathetic, but I find it exhilarating. I'm free to f*ck up my own body again."

"I try and take lots of vitamins and I don't drink. I do smoke, though, I'd be insufferable if I didn't smoke, you'd have to push me off a balcony I'd be so boring"

Those particular are rather ludicrous, but in a Kate kind-of-way, also humurous.

Oh well.. Nevertheless, I think no less of her for ensuing in a bad habbit shared by millions of others.
