Here we have official promotional shots from Nothing But the Truth! And before I forget: Happy New Year everyone!
If you needed someone to helm a political movie, you can’t really go wrong with Rod Lurie, the man behind “The Contender” and the TV series “Commander in Chief”, among others. His latest is “Nothing but the Truth”, starring Kate Beckinsale as a jailed journalist who refuses to divulge her source.
Well it appears from these pictures that Kate’s Rachel Armstrong does more than just face a “possible jail sentence” — she’s actually in jail!
Here is your first look at Rod Lurie’s “Nothing but the Truth”. Starring Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, Vera Farmiga, Edie Falco, Alan Alda, and written and directed by Rod Lurie.
It’s set for a September 19th, 2008 release date.

With the recent WGA labour strike on the go, a series of short films staring a number of A-list actors and actress' have been made as show of support for the union. Not surprisingly, Kate stars in one of the many short films - episode #6 - with David Schwimmer, where the two are seen in what appears to be a prison attempting to talk to through the phone system to which naturally nothing can be heard; thus obviously promoting the title of these films: "Speechless". The some 40 second piece features "creative team" credit to Rod Lurie; who happens to be the director of Kate's next big film, "Nothing but the Truth".
